STEPHANIE ALLEN (TREASURER)
Steph was elected the treasurer for the Southern Region in 2019.  She also holds the positions of Branch Secretary, Recruitment and Membership Secretary, and a Health & Safety Representative at Bournemouth University.​

MARK FARWELL (REGIONAL SECRETARY)
Mark has been a NATFHE and UCU member since 1986, and elected Chair of Solent UCU in 2007. He is also Solent UCU lead caseworker; Chair of Joint Negotiation and Consultation Committee (JNCC) at Solent University; and UCU Regional Secretary (South Region).

MARTIN GIDDEY (EQUALITY OFFICER)
Martin is a member of UCU South Retired Members’ Branch where he is also Equality Officer. A life-long trades unionist, Martin formerly worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Portsmouth where he was Branch Secretary for 10 years.
MARIAN MAYER (CHAIR)
I have been the chair of the Southern Region Committee since June 2018 having previously served as Vice Chair, and I’ve been an active member of UCU since 2005. I began my activism as a casualised workers rep, and went on to represent the branch as the Equality Officer, Vice Chair, Chair, Vice Chair again, and am currently the Co-chair and Health and Safety officer.
